I remember seeing ads for that and not hearing so much as "boo" about it a short while after. I guess that's why I never bothered to pick it up myself.
That was my reasoning with Ape Escape and Tomb Raider when I picked them up at a local game trade store. Still haven't touched the former or beaten the latter though. >_>
Oh yeah, the 2013 reboot. That one pleasantly surprised me too, though it didn't seem very related to "Tomb Raider" except that it had an attractive British lass named "Lara" as the protagonist.
It does sort of disappoint me how all those games have become homogenised, like you have uncharted, prince of Persia and tomb raider and they all have very similar wallclimbing mechanics
