I never really thought I'd have such a drastic change of mind and character so suddenly. I always thought these things would be learned gradually and shift over time

the human brain really is just a bunch of chemicals firing around

The fact that you already see this as a learning experience means you're going to be just fine.
I get a lot of enjoyment out of refusing to flirt with women

a few years ago I was at this barbecue and this girl grabs my sun hat and runs off with it and I just ignored her completely, it was hilarious, she had no idea what to do with the hat when she realised I wasn't going to bother chasing her
quite enjoy defying the stereotype that 100% of all men are looking for sex 100% of the time and can be trivially manipulated on that basis
"single" is not a synonym for "desperate"

haha, that's actually pretty great DJ.

I hope so, trying my best at least
Club 27 Goals
of course though another thing I learned is what I consider trying my "best" might not actually be what's best, I need to try my smartest

So smarty smarty computer people: I have one folder that will not delete no matter what I do, and another folder that deletes but randomly comes back from the dead to haunt my computer. How do I kill these zombies?
Did both of them appear somehow w/o your knowing? If so, I recommend googling their names and see what comes up.

No, I know what they are and where they came from.
They're part of a program and you didn't create them?

The one that reappears is an accidentally copied mp3 album and the one that won't delete is a canceled torrent.

wow that's weird. for the latter i say delete the torrent in your torrenting software. but you probably already did that?
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Yeah, I already did that. :/
the mp3 folder may be an obscure bug with windows. dunno, never had a problem like that. what does it say when you attempt to delete the torrent?
Not impossible

Nothing, that's the weird part. It does absolutely nothing. Just sits there not deleted.
Have you already rebooted after deleting it?
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
Yup.

I'm defragging the drive hoping that'll do something, but I kinda doubt it.
it sounds like malware but that doesn't make a lot of sense really

Maybe it's Windows 10 weirdness.
I should probably upgrade to that while it's still free to do it

I'd actually recommend it. I hadn't upgraded since Vista before and I'm liking pretty much everything about it. Be sure to look into what settings you need to flip to protect your privacy before you upgrade though, they snuck some fishy stuff in.
worth noting, thanks

I don't generally use windows for day to day web browsing, that's all done on Linux, it's mainly just used for music production (when I can actually be bothered to do that) and gaming
I really ought to get another copy of windows for my living room PC, only have linux on here at the moment which limits what I can play on steam, but I'm not relishing having to cough up for another copy of microsoft's OS
