the french actually have laws to try to protect their culture, there's some law that some percentage of songs played on french radio have to be in french

not sure if it was a bad idea or not, but I set up a profile on some dumb dating site because whatever. It helps to talk to a lot of people with similar interests to get my mind off the break up. A chick started messaging me, she's pretty damn cute, likes to dress up, has an actual career, and we were hitting it off really well. Going to play vidya games together, and were joking a lot and she's pretty awesome. I asked where she's from and she said CA, so I was like, oh fucking rad she's from California like me too!

Then I found out it meant Canada and I was like, fuck. Nope. Not going through this again.

also hey kids a fun way to kill yourself: go to Taco Bell and ask if they still have the bacon chalupa. when they say no, just say "god DAMN it" and pull a gun out and shoot yourself.

there was an old lady in the UK who gave loads of money to charities even though she didn't have all that much, and charities are such dicks when it comes to demanding more money, they're the ultimate guilt trippers if you've given money to them before

and eventually this old girl killed herself because she couldn't handle the constant visits and phone calls and guilt inducing propaganda from charities

and now charities are quite a bit less keen on hassling people, she made a political statement by killing herself even though she wasn't intending to do that
