Re:jobs: retail's about as bad as fast food for assuming employees are children. Part of it is probably liability and another part is probably that many of the workers actually are that inept. Sticking out like a sore thumb for me because I'm not using my brain (or college degree) at all.
I had one of the worst cases of muscle cramp, or tendontis, that I've ever experienced. It almost made me drive to the emergency room at 5am last night.
my arm was hurting all day yesterday, anytime I tried to lift up my arm it hurt pretty bad. I layed in bed around 12, didn't fall asleep until 2 from the pain. I ended up waking up at 5am because my arm hurt SO badly that I couldn't move or put it anywhere without extreme pain.
I ended up taking Acetaminophen (sp) and ibuprofen at the same time, taking a very hot shower, and then putting ice on it until it was so numb Icouldn't feel it. Still hurts this morning, but damn.
Can you think of anything you may have done to cause it?
Another possibility is growing pains. Our bones go through some dramatic transformations from puberty up to our late 20's and sometimes something fucking hurts for a day or so.
honestly I can't think of anything, other than MAYBE sleeping on it badly. Even then though, nothing I've done has made it last this long before. And I certainly hope it's not growing pains.
Quote from DJGrenola:
cramp does do that but it doesn't usually last that long
yeah, even right now it hurts.
And of course my grandmother is just all "It's cause of that damn computer! All you do is sit all day and talk to friends no wonder you're falling apart!"

If you're really sitting in front of your computer and controlling a mouse all day long, that may be the cause. My sister has arm pains all the time because of it. And once had her arm wrapped in bandages for a few weeks because she ahd to let it rest so badly.
I mean, I did consider that, but it just seems odd that it would hit SO HARD out of nowhere, after I've been doing this for decades. and on top of that I've actually been working and on my feet recently, wheres a week ago it was like... my third week in a row without working and just sitting on my ass playing final fantasy for hours and hours.
it can happen like that though, my shitty wrist did something like that, packed up with no warning when I wasn't actually doing any of the activities that had made it angry
