poision that's pretty much what this was, you have to get to the trail at like 6 am then it's 3 hours up and 2.5 hours down ... most of them are longer than that too which is kind of yikes

but we drank beers at the top which was super fun lol

haha, for us after we got to the top, he called up my grandma and she just drove a car up to pick us up, I was completely beat.

also it seems that my job isn't giving me my sick hours, so I'm not really sure what to do about that. I've had to have two doctor appointments, and was supposed to used 10 of my 15 hours of paid sick time. I gave my manager two days notice ahead of each time, and it wasn't on my check. I just asked him about it and he said he's asking the head manager how to do it.

And of course since I'm quitting in the next week, I really doubt they're going to give me those hours.

yeah, I mean it's not like I'm starved for the money, but still I'd really rather have it than not, especially since I'm sure it's not hard for them to do, more of just that they don't want to.

Also, unrelated note, it's really weird having to deal with depression from the perspective of the happy person. Recently my girlfriend has been under a tremendous amount of stress from her classes, her family, her brother, finances, and everything, and it's really taking a toll. It really sucks feeling useless in the situation, but it also sucks feeling like you can't make them happy. I know it'll pass eventually, and that's really helping the situation, but it just suuuuucks when the person that used to make you really happy is just a non-stop downer, and there's nothing you can really do to help. And on top of that, she knows her being down makes it so I can't enjoy myself as much, which makes her feel even worse about it, it's a fucking struggle. Once the worst part of her classes are over and she moves out things will be tremendously better, but it's really tough until then.

This one is kind of odd. It seems as if it assumes they were talking negatively about their job, I think? I answered 4 in this case.
