There's been total fraud going on at work and experience tells me it's an inside job. They've launched an investigation and all communications talk about it as if it's some criminals on the outside, but I think the company has to know by now that someone inside is also involved. Can't wait to find out who it is.
Yeah so this guy I work with argues for 3 days with some oil company about why they owe us a crapload of money for a ton of merchandise that was sent to a chain of golf courses. How? HOW?!
Two more stunning things about that episode: He didn't realize that he had billed the wrong account himself, I had to point it out to him. And, HE was the one who sent all the crap to the golf courses, so he was familiar with the project.
I want to ask him: How many times do they have to say that this bill doesn't belong to them before you consider the possibility that they might be correct? And why doesn't it seem odd to him that an oil company has two dozen golf courses?
The contact name between the two companies was the same, and that's probably what he kept holding on to. But why can't he THINK?!
