well I mean we're all dumb about something until we learn it, it's not as if you couldn't, but I'm sure it'd take a whole lot more effort to learn than the enjoyment you'd get
guess you're probably just meaning how some people have a knack for it and it comes easier for them
yeah I can definitely see that with cpu architecture. I only get into it down to a level of "okay I'm building a computer what CPU do I really need for this, and why"
I'm surprised you have the time to teach yourself so much stuff P.E. Doesn't computer sciences involve some high-level math courses for which you'd have to study a lot? Because that's the case for CS studies in germany, and the reason I didn't go into that field when I was your age. I sucked at math in school and wasn't confident enough to study a curriculum at university that involved math courses.
the most difficult/time-consuming math course i took in college was my second year of calculus ... the more cs-related courses weren't actually too bad
it was the low level microorg and especially operating systems classes that sucked my time up
hopefully I'll get to do some more electronics now I have this new computer, need to think of some neat ideas for hardware
printed circuit board manufacture has never been easier, places like dirtypcbs.com will just take your gerber source files from Eagle CAD and send you 10 PCBs for $15
