oh, that's balls. I remember at taco bell the kitchen/back-store AC died, but the one in the lobby still worked. Problem was though the temperature thing was in the back of the store, so it was blasting the AC in the lobby but none of the cold air came into the kitchen (where the ovens and everything were). The lobby was freezing, customers would complain, and yet we were baking hot in the kitchen. It was easily a 25 degree difference.
It took out manager 2 months of hassling the head guy before finally getting someone to fix it, and even then it took the guy at least 4 or 5 visits before it was working properly again. At one point the ice that was frozen on the AC melted when we turned it off, and disgusting black and brown water started to drip through the ceiling and drenched the food-making counter and left a massive puddle on the floor. Good times.
I just had some sort of power surge at my place. Put the power out for about 4 hours and fried a couple things, including the wife's iPhone and our microwave. According to the guys that came out to fix it we can get some kind of reimbursement from the power company though, so that's something.

super weird, didn't think that still happened in first world countries
I forgot how much fun messing around with Debian is when you start from scratch, and trying to get multiple types of software set up and getting nothing but errors thrown back at you. I really don't want to imagine how much trouble and how slow things used to take to set up nicely before google was there every step of the way to help.
I haven't even started the networking side of it yet.
She finally revealed her female identity Caitlin Jenner within the past few days and appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair all airbrushed and looking like a rich villainess. I kind of despise her.
will be good to get the tax stuff sorted, I've got this money sitting here that came from abroad that I can't really spend yet because I don't know how much of it has to go to the taxman
hahaha if you go to the Game of Thrones official site, then go to 'Settings', you can change the language to English, Spanish, or Hodor. The Hodor setting changes every word to Hodor.
The Debian server thing was sarcasm yeah. I mean I am enjoying the learning process, but it's being too much of a learning process and less of a productive process.
Do you guys have experience with ruby/gems? I ran into an error and after go ogling it it only appears to have started giving people trouble in the last 20 hours
