The guy working at the gamestop closest to my house was unfamiliar with The Legend of Zelda series. I went there the day after ALBW came out and asked him if he had the collectors guide to the new Zelda game. He said "Which game?". I said "The legend of Zelda: A link between Worlds." He asked what system it was on. Then he asked me how to spell Zelda. He was completely clueless and finally just said NO we don't have that here. I went to the one across the street (yes, there's another one across the street) and they had tons of promo posters and stands on display for the game, as well as a stack of guides sitting behind the counter. Not all gamestops are created equally. I told them that the gamestop across the street was unfamiliar with the game and they said that seems impossible, but I assured them it was not. You don't have to play or like Zelda games, but it is one of the most popular franchises in gaming history and if you work at gamestop then you should at least know wtf it is.
Gamestop wasn't that bad when they were newer. Nowadays though, I'd rather permanently avoid videogames all together rather than to walk into one of those stores again.
Waiting on shipping sucks, and some games still have amazing physical copies, such as the Witcher 3 and wow expansion. Free hearthstone packs ftw, and can't forget that keychain
pretty sure when you're older and have even less free time, making sure you get a game so you can play it that weekend is a lot more important than when you're a kid and can play it whenever
oh yeah hey ark is there any way to purchase taiga forum for a small-time website and host it on my own server without paying $10/m? like I know theres tons of free forum stuff that would get the job done totally fine but I figured using taiga for it would be neat, just seems kinda pricey though
