God Gamestop sucks ass.
So I get to my local gamestop at about 7:45. The chick is cute, I ask for two copies of the Warlords of Draenor expansion for WoW. She asks what console it's on. I tell her it's for world of warcraft. She asks if it's on xbox or ps4. I let her know it's on PC, cool whatever not a big deal, and she tells me they're out of stock but the one in scotts Valley (20 minute drive) has lots in stock. So I tell her thanks and drive down there and get there around 8:10. This gamestop closes at 8PM, where as all the others close at 9PM. so I drive all the way back to the first gamestop because if I can't play the expansion, I may as well pick up a physical copy of the Witcher 3 because there's no way in hell I'm downloading like 40GB at 150KB/s. I get there around 8:30, and she tells me they do actually have one copy [of Warlods of Draenor] in stock, so I'm like okay cool I'll buy it. She rings it up, and it's not applying the sale (50%). She tells me it's not on sale, and I tell her it is on the website. We load up the website and sure enough, it's on sale. She then realizes she was trying to ring up the wrong game. Okay, whatever, I pay for it, she's cute so I let it slide. I'm still recovering from my cold so I sound super sick and I think she thought I was pissed at her. I ask if I could buy the Witcher 3, and she says "oh we just sold our last copy an hour ago". I MAKE SURE she double checks this time, but they're really out, but the other gamestop has two copies left.
But seriously, how the hell do you work at gamestop and not know what the fuck WORLD of WARCRAFT is.
