Makes sense really, considering many phones are starting to have all the capabilities of a laptop with much less hassle, and since phones are a standard requirement, you may as well get one that is powerful and will last you.
it's weird how desktops are going to fall back into a thing that only businesses need or use, average people really don't need them anymore to get connected or to use for entertainment
poision yeah but that's kind of how they always were, there was only a brief period of about 10 years or so where casuals bought PCs for internet access
I can definitely see how it could be bad if all kids and stuff do on their phone is talk to each other, but I think a lot of them do actually read books on their phones as well.
Hell, my girlfriend's friends in early highschool surprise me with how they actually read harry potter and shit on their phones to pass time. I'm sure there's a lot out there that just are snapchatting their yolos, but popular kids will always be dumb like that
yeah I've been wondering that, I dunno, it's not a huge distinction really though, the point is you can take it with you and look at it any time, it's still essentially just the same thing as a phone
the idea with smartwatches is you don't have to take your phone out and spend so much time looking at it, but i dunno if that will be reason enough for people to buy into them
