I'm just afraid of religious extremists. I think it's sad that in 2015 I'm worried about the crazy god-deluded people getting too much power when it should be about economics, foreign policy, etc.

yeah honestly I feel like if the people in the highest command for this nation were religious, specifically christian or buddhist, we would see some amazing changes for this country. We'd stop fighting other non-religious country's wars, we'd focus more on getting rid of the terror on our own land, and we would see a much higher push to a better education.

of course by better education I mean mandatory religious studies in schools, for the education that REALLY matters; the education of awareness of God. I think it would still be good to teach children about things like evolution, but make it clear that the theory of evolution is what is taught in the horrible 3rd world countries of the east, to make them aware of other's beliefs, no matter how inane they seem.
