well right lol, you can only amend the constitution, not remove amendments altogether. obviously i was talking about amending the constitution to undo the fourth amendment. i've never heard anyone claim we should do that
also it is kinda supposed to be set in stone and never change. that was the idea behind the republic. that's what a constitution is. like it or not, it's not a "living document" that we're supposed to amend any time we want
If it's difficult to add a small change to the amendment then it would be damn near impossible to repeal the whole thing. Nobody would ever go for not having any privacy at all under any condition.
Repealing and adding a clause are two different things. One is undeniably far more difficult than the other when it comes to this particular amendment. That's all I'm saying.
Some buddies wanted to grab lunch and hang out so we got some taco bell. An hour later I just feel miserable and my somtomach hates me. Is this what happens when you grow up? To be fair I haven't eaten taco bell in like a month.
I'm conflicted about that stuff. I personally don't care if they have a record of all my phone activity, and there's so much legal red tape in place that govt can't get ahead of the bad guys.
The funny part is the phone tapping and other Patriot Act nonsense hasn't actually helped stay ahead of anything. So it gets to be illegal and pointless! Don't worry though, courts don't actually care much about the fourth amendment so there are plenty of legal ways to illegally search innocent people!

I was even younger than you are now when my stomach started getting weak. That's getting old, yeah.

I think the fundamental issue here is that it's impossible to be "ahead" of bad guys because by definition you don't know they're bad guys until their bad actions are in the past tense - i.e., ahead of us, rather than the other way around.
to be fair, as i get older i definitely notice the effects of junk food way more than i used to. otoh that could just be because i don't eat it very often anymore ....
yeah I definitely have a preference for better quality stuff, but I think part of that is because I've got better at cooking so my standards have just naturally gone up
it's a nuisance actually because when I do eat out (which is pretty rare nowadays) I often sit there thinking yeah I could have made something better than this
