Easier doesn't mean your nose handles it any better. Tissues get dried out and that's where the bleeding comes from, guess the numbness would fix the general irritation issue though.
I can't imagine it's good for the sinuses either way.

Eh guess it depends on what's in it but there's probably not enough there to really do anything.
I mean aside from the general issue of shoving things up your nose everyday.
