Even without thinking of money at all, I'd still eat far more mac 'n' cheese than would be healthy. Love that suicidally processed sodium with a few noodles mixed in.

You are mixing two situations that are often very different. Most people in those situations don't want to be, and most of those wish they had a way out but either don't or were eventually discouraged from trying. And some are shit. But the fear that some people might be garbage shouldn't stop you helping the group as a whole.

I know plenty people who work damned hard and barely stay afloat so kindly shove the "bootstraps" bullshit up your ass.
