My band do Johnny B. Goode. I try and SRV it up a bit because I hate 50s rock n'roll guitar tones.

I mean it's our bloody encore. If I had my way, our encore would be this but done all big band style with full horns.

But for that, we'd need a full horn section :P

Classical music's a bit too much for me. Like I don't get it. It goes over my head a bit.

Orchestral film scores and stuff I really like though. Not that I pretend to understand it, but it's hard for me to appreciate classical stuff.

Yeah I wasn't being flippant there, I'm actually of the opinion that Elvis's popularity came mostly from the fact that people couldn't deal with the concept of black people being able to make good music.

It's sort of why I laugh at people going on about how great things were back in the good old days of the 50s when men were men and women were women and you didn't have to lock your doors at night because it was literally paradise in America.
