& Speaking of work... Ah. It's a test of my patience. Fellow, new coworkers. You explain things to them, you leave them detailed, long, written out notes in the shift log, you go as far as to draw up and print out pictures so they surely can't goof up something simple. But they always manage to impress. It's impressive how forgetful or stupid some people must be desperately trying to convince others they are. I have no other explanation. Who is that incompetent? 
& then there's the people who are smart enough and just don't give a flip to even try.

well this sucks. My package went from Oklahoma city to Dallas Texas, Then from Dallas it went straight to San Jose which is pretty much just barely north of me. I got all excited when I saw it arrived in San Jose about 4 hours ago since that would mean I'd get my package tomorrow or the day after. BUT THEN, it went from San Jose, to OAKLAND. Oakland is AWAY from me. Fuck you UPS.

LOL. I know how you feel and what you're thinking... But, really. You're not the only one they have packages to deliver to. 
That has to be why (and I'm sure you don't think this) they don't make a bee-line straight to your house. 
It does seem strange. But I guess we'd never know unless we were delivering the packages ourselves. Everybody has orders and directions they have to follow.
The package I'm waiting on has went back to other cities it was in before. Yet, when it was closer I had an earlier estimated delivery date than when it was strung along to another farther/out-of-the-way place. Right now it's scheduled for Sept. 2nd delivery. If it gets pushed ahead further I'm calling and complaining. >:-[
Oh well. At least I was able to get all my (40 some) wires stripped and tinned ahead of time (yesterday) so I can have it all ready for those parts when I get 'em.

I'm just surprised they didn't keep it in San Jose. I guess if they enjoy hauling around extra weight, they can do whatever they want as long as it's here before or on the est date.

I've ordered 4 of them. I had a couple arcade styled controllers I made that I used to use with my older consoles (Saturn and PS1). I used them mainly for fighting games... But now that I play all my games on the computer.... And I had a PC controller with it's circuit board broken... I soldered some wires to it.
I'm going to use those Molex connectors to connect the wires I have on the PC controller circuit board to the wires of one of my arcade controllers.
I'll most likely post pics once I get it all together.
