when nathan and i were in LA, we saw a dead coyote on the highway. freaked me the fuck out. i've heard stories about celebrities' dogs and young children getting attacked/eaten by them and everything. sad they're so hungry but they do terrify me.

my dog goes nuts over shit like squirrels and mice, but whenever he gets one he just carries it around. he's a pretty dumb dog.

my fucked up viewpoint is that i save the turtle not expecting anything, but when i expect something from other people and get nothing, it hurts.

i wish i could convince myself to just not care, but it's hard.


and i fucking love snakes. i accidentally hurt one very badly while string trimming years ago and i'm still guilty about it. i'm very, very careful now.

i also hate outdoor cats because they kill them for fun. and they kill wild birds. keep your cats inside!

I like snakes.  I try to catch them and examine them every time I see one.  They really are amazing animals.

I remember walking through the woods with a friend and there was a huge snake the started slithering right towards me on the path and I freaked out. It just kinda went into the bushes though.

Speaking of cats the other day my cat caught a really big lizard, but its tail was missing.

I once seen a small snake that was in my doorway -between the main door and the screen door.  It wiggled, I yelled, jumped, ran...  then limped because I jumped up off my foot the wrong way.

and sometimes snakes get in my room, so i have to take them outside. my mom is usually around for some reason, and she screams bloody murder. but they're so cute!! that stink they let off is awful though.
