I got together with one of my friends from highschool, one of my friends from middleschool who I haven't seen or talked to since middleschool, and a random stranger guy together and we all played Dawn of the Worlds for about 3-4 hours. It's a really fun paper + pencil tabletop game. To sum it up you are all gods and you make this land however you want. Nobody can win or lose, unless you decide to purposefully harm one player's work, and things like that. On average it takes about 5-6 hours to completely get through all 3 ages.
I had a great time with them, and hopefully we are going to do it again soon. I wish there was a video game version of this game. The closest thing I can think of is Civilization, but that's nothing compared to this.
I'm not too sure how popular DotW is, so if everyone already knows about it then I guess I'm just late to the party. But if you don't know about it, and you have about 4 friends that would be willing to try it, certainly give it a shot.

That looks like a neat game, I'll take a look at it once I have the time. I was thinking it would be easy to even make like a browser/flash game of DoW. If I had more experience with flash and stuff I'd totally try.
On an unrelated note, we're moving again (hopefully). The place we're looking at is being rented out by this really old lady who has almost no idea of the house market. The house is literally twice the size of our current house, and my room has a walk-in closet that has a window in it, and I found that I could fit my computer and all my gaming junk into this closet, which would be fookin awesome. The bittersweet part though is that its out in the woods, so I can't walk to school or the gas station anymore. BUT since its way out in the woods I'm surrounded by all kinds of adventure and trails, and ever since I was little I loved hiking through the forest and stuff.

After much thought, I broke things off with the BF. It was not an easy thing to do since I had such a strong attraction towards him, but it's for the best. He never really cared about me, he only cared about the way I made him feel about himself. I was being used.
