I got meh new headphones in the mail, and my friend got his laptop cooler. The problem is, the laptop cooler didn't come with the USB cord thing to plug into his laptop, so it can't turn on. Amazon said they would give him free one day shipping for there and back, but it still sucked.
Oh, and I'm finally back home. 60kb/s internet was pretty much the worse thing ever.
They weren't able to show us anything during the conference, understandably. But from what I've seen/heard, it sounds like it works exactly as intended and that the 3D is pretty good. But no, haven't seen it in action yet and I doubt we will for a while since it would be pretty hard to show something like that off other than in person, wouldn't it?
Well I mean if they had some demos up, and a lot of people got to test it, and those people put up what they honestly thought of it on the internet then we could get a better idea. After all, when you're buying something like a new pair of headphones you can't actually go to the store and try on every pair before judging whether or not they are good, so you're forced to go through reviews over the internet to see what other people think who actually have/tried them.
If the pictures of the 3DS playing starfox AREN'T simulated, then the 3DS looks like it's going to actually have some really nice graphics. It also looks like the top screen is going to be used just for 3D, and the bottom screen will be the touch screen and not 3D. Just my guess though, don't quote me on it.
We'll get more info later, I'm fairly certain they have demos on the show floor so once people have played with it a bit we'll start hearing/seeing things.
