haha oops. When I was home yesterday I jokingly set a really bad gay furry pic as my laptop's wallpaper... and now I'm in class and I can't turn it on otherwise everyone behind me will see it.

ah fack. I left my money at home, asked my mom on the way over to my classes if I could borrow some dollars for the bus and she was like "oh don't worry I'll be driving over there anyway, I'll just pick you up". So I call her and she left without her cellphone, so I'm stuck here for at least another few hours.

kind of hard to explain ... basically when they dye multicoloured yarns it's done by tying the yarn into a skein of a particular radius and then painting it with dye

if whatever you're knitting has a radius that is approximately an integer factor of the skein radius then the colours don't stripe like they're supposed to, they "pool"
