Wait, Samus was originally called a SPACE HUNTER.

However, in the Super Metroid intro, it does say she was going to go look for a new bounty to hunt.

I can't wait until this thread, with this title, has the most posts of any on this board. It's already less than a page away from being #1, hilarious. I'm sure nintendo doesn't have anyone looking out for this sort of thing though, sort of like how a musician might not want to read a bunch of different fan opinions but would instead just read major reviews (if anything).

Watching the spoony vid made me remember that, in zero mission, when Samus gets shot out of the sky and loses her armor, she grabs a taser and infiltrates the space pirate mother-ship. You know, instead of freezing up. And she does this on her first (zeroth) mission. *sigh*

Not sure what that has to do with her freezing up in MOM...
She freezes up against Ridley (arguably in ZM as well) She doesn't freak against Robo-Ridley.

Though, this being her Zero Mission, this would be the time where she'd actually take initial revenge on him and not freeze. All the trauma would manifest from his "ressurection" (Though that doesn't explain her not freezing in Super)

Also... 50 Missiles? Really? What was that Easy Mode, or have I forgotten the game? (*edit* I meant in terms of how few it took to kill him)

You can have about 60 missiles before you do Kraid, if you know what you're doing (maybe even more, I don't remember). That's assuming you even do Kraid first.

In normal mode it takes 10 supers to kill him, and arent't supers equal to 5 missiles? 10 X 5 = 50.

I got a quick question. Umm for what purpose does hard mode exist in this game? They give you nothing. Not even the scantily clad gallery of Samus? Man, I was like yeah, I beat the game, ready to play Hard mode. I found out online you get nothing and my face went 80

at least around here people are free to not like any of the games without the entire board jumping onto them. you can have very unusual top 5 lists of your games and people won't attack you here because their favorite game is very low in your list, etc.

also, the guy at the first post is factually wrong in one aspect: he says the game is making a fuckton of money and that's wrong so far. Other M's sales in japan and europe have been pretty low so far. we still haven't seen US sales so we can't declare it a flop yet but i think we should wait until the numbers come out before making sales statements.
