Not all the time. DMantra has skill redesigning the game and surely found more ways to trigger a gray door (which seems brown to me), and i, well, don't recall enemies on that room Confused

Room 4 of Dranaphen and room 1 of Cobalt Mountain

are in fact the same room.

Congrats on beating the game, Kaiser! To answer your original question more directly,

There are enemies in that room: they're the stationary things under glass domes. You have to use powerbombs to kill them.

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if someone has already mentioned this, but has anyone noticed that using a missile on Phantoon completely rapes the game up?

I spose not many people would use missiles at that point, because with all the beam upgrades, it's way stronger than a missile anyway especially if you grabbed Plasma. I just tried it, and woop - Glitchyness galore!

Also, WHY THE FUCK WAS DMAN BANNED???

danidub, you get the credit for the stuff in my current avatar. I took your Digital Mantra metroid pic found on a couple of your maps and modified it some to make it a worthy avatar. I suppose you can also call it a tribute. Either one of you can use this avatar if you want. Also, I don't think I'll be 100% satisfied unless one or both of you guys comment on it. We have two great hacks by DMantra and great maps from danidub methinks.

I love it how in SM you went through that whole adventurous route to get yourself to Tourian as the last place with your last final obstacle, but in Eris when you get to Abyss it's not over yet, there's still stuff to find and game left to finish.

I see this game as SM 2. They couldn't have made it better if they had tried.

EDIT4 The original sense of war, from the beginnings of male-ruled humanity (female-ruled societies mostly don't do war) was to take and secure a portion of land for expansion. Nowadays, that ain't the reason. The wars that go around now are stupid! They're sending hordes of 19 years old pals to AlQaedaLand to protect some country or stop terrorism? Nah! They're there sent by the wealthy government of the U.S.A. to take control of the oil pits and refineries, so that U.S.A. don't have to use their own oil pits (much like the Rocky Mountains to the west: pure iron and stuff that the U.S.A won't use until they have depleted the rest of the world of its iron and stuff).

Ah, some of you might not know (mostly none because of the way of them U.S.A. tv channels offers info), here in Paraguay (a country in southern America) we have a giant water pit that has been discovered some years ago, it's so big that the entire country could float on it (yep, small country)! The U.S.A. never had much presence here, but since this discovery, they're stubbornly trying to set their military bases here "to help the underdeveloped countries here and stop piracy". I lol when i hear them representatives saying things like that. It's right this country is a poor crap and is the center of piracy to the rest of south America, but we don't need soldiers to solve these problems. We need to put each and every politician in a gas chamber, then get them replaced by honest people. Thing that an army can't do.

And about keeping a military presence and number. It is right to have military service in a country for defense, ONLY because other countries also have military presence and number. Damn those stupid nuclear silos everywhere. As long as they exist this planet won't be in peace (they say this since, uuhhhmmmm, 1960 or less or more or whatever). The U.S.A. government is really wrong in sending younglings to other countries "to defend peace and stop piracy and terrorism" for one, little, really little reason: the U.S.A is who promotes terrorism! AND i don't want to hear even once that it's not true. All you guys know that Bin Laden is supported and hidden by their "main enemy".

My, i do have more in my head than MAH BOI and SPARTA! :D

Here, DMan. You could spit somethin like this and shut them military mouthes for a while. With a built opinion based on knowledge and facts. Even though you said you do it, you only flamed them with little sense. Whatever.

What glitch? I had to rely on Missiles to beat him and nothing really glitchy happened (SNES 9x 1.41 i guess (i have lost my pendrive and can't track it!))

Push through tyjet. My patience ran thin early on and I actually put it on the shelf for awhile. I came back to it and Eris eventually became my favorite SM hack.

for Spore Spawn? I did find an easy strat for SS though

Stand on the right block, when Spore Spawn comes at you spin jump (with evasion) to the left a bit, then go right so you hit a ledge on the ceiling, you'll fall back onto the beginning platform, no damage taken.

EDIT:100 savestates later, and I kicked Botwoon's ass.

In all Metroid titles, there where never a chance to kill a "normal" Metroid without Ice Cream. If you don't have it, use Evasion/shoot them to keep them away from you.

And, if a metroid grabs you, use evasion! It'll stop the damage for as long as you're spinning.
