Here's a new link for Digital Mantra-Echoes of Eris (Super Metroid Eris Soundtrack)

http://www.steekr.com/n/50-17/share/LNK82114a7a224e58c22/

It's good for a month.

VERY cool, thanks!
So far, I'm enjoying this hack. Where do I go after I found power bomb?

Acheron pasted a guide to the item order on page 14, aigamer. Mainly, though,
You want to be able to kill all of the pink metroids in the big white room to the southeast, but to do that you need ice beam, which can be found close to the grappling beam.

ok, I'll take a look at it. Thanks!
. . .
Did another playthrough today

2:31 - 78%

The game goes much faster when you know where to go, and don't have to backtrack very much
Another harmless glitch during the escape:
You can return to the room with the child after grabbing her and leaving; she magically teleports back to the corner behind the Metroids. The door to the elevator shaft remains unlocked, so you can head back...but she'll reattach to you again! So it's quite impossible to avoid rescuing her. :)
Acclaimed Threshold
Constant Sorrows
Derakon: there's a missile tank you missed
directly above the map cursor in your posted map. Top-most blank tile there; approach that room from the right side.
That's the only area I know of you haven't explored.
Finished the game.

Time 5:22
76% Items

Awesome hack.  Exploration was a blast, level design was amazing, last boss looked awesome.  A fine job Dmantra!

I'm thinking I'll need springball, or maybe something to

trigger the golden chozo statue.

maybe...?

http://forum.metroid2002.com/index.php/topic,7628.msg264982.html#msg264982

I'm assuming it's in the Chozodian Shrine.  That's the only area left that still has places I can't get into.

I think.

ETA: I've got..

Speed Booster, PBs, Grapple, Super Missiles, High Jump, Ice Beam, Spazer, Charge, Bomb, morphball...

Give me a vague hint, like what region to concentrate on.
Playing Super Metroid non-stop since 1994 =)
Is there a way to get this missile pack?

Hint: What did you have to do in the room to the left?

Charge SS then jump in middle

I feel so dumb  laugh new
I believe I got everything except 4 powerbombs, unless there's an X-Ray somewhere.
Awesome hack btw!
Is there a RAM-address that shows your current %? I tried to find one without any success.

Are there any PB-upgrades in the last area? Haven't explored everything there yet as there's usually no upgrades in the end.

Acheron: thanks! But it was a super missile, not a normal missile. S'all good. :)

That and ChristianM's tank got me to 98%...just one super and one powerbomb left to go.

Tompa:
The only upgrade after Ridley is one E-tank.

Edit: found another random oddity:
I was searching for items in the room where you first get powerbombs, and I hung out for awhile in the upper-left corner. A wrecked ship ghost appeared in the walls! I couldn't get them to appear where they could actually attack me, but if you hang out near the spawn point for the first of those diving enemies, you should be able to get one to show up. I'm guessing this is similar to all the other random enemies in the walls, but you can actually see this one, instead of just hearing it / being able to shoot/kill it.
Finally got around to finishing it:

Ended with 7:26 time and 90% items.  I thought my game glitched in the last elevator ride, because I couldn't get it to go up.  Boy was I glad to find out I am just retarded.

Is there a point with the "effect" at this place?

I think they're supposed to be fans or something.

There's nothing there, though.

EDIT:  I just remembered:  The complete opposite corner of that room drove me insane.  There's a blue gate and then a thing that doesn't do anything, but looks like it does in the wall.  I came back literally every time I got a new item to test it out on that spot.  I just couldn't let it go.

EDIT 2:  About the wrecked ship ghosts, I've seen them appear there, too. Scared the living crap out of me, too :D

My thought was - that it was a blown up power generator or something, and the weird "effect" was like some magnetic field.

The more I play (I am taking it relatively slow) the more areas I find. Razz

The reason for that is...  I think it has to do with associating one enemy with another.  And in this case - notice how they do 2 things like the ghost.  They flash/glow white and keep reappearing, yet they are constantly 'there'.  Unlike the ghost.

It's a bit like the 'Bang' enemy.  For them to fire a certain (weapon) they have to have that same enemy associated with them (somehow)...  which may involve having said enemy somewhere in that same play field. Confused

I guess.

Finished the game again, this time in 4:06 and 94%  extra_smug (48 Missiles, 28 Supers and 29 Power Bombs). I must say I'm really enjoying item hunting, I currently have a headache thinking where coulf the last ammo packs be  laugh new, it feels as if I already bombed the whole planet searching for the remaining items.
which Super Metroid rom do you need to make the patch work?
Hmmm... I'm working on a low % speed run of this because it seems fun.
Yo.

Hmm, thats werid. I have that rom, but for some reason whenever i patch the rom it does not seem to work. After i select a file the screen goes black and it stays that way. Am I doing something wrong?
What'd you say?
Is your rom headered? 3,073KB, if it's 3,072KB then you need to add a header.
