[SM] SM: MockingBird Station [mini]

What other hack(s) does this best approximate, difficulty-wise? Just lookng for an idea of what I'd be getting myself into.

Camera scrolls upwards if your positioned correctly enough and jump. The position is right near where I am standing.

Wow! Nice find!

Anyway, the easier way to find those missing hole is to double click the type of tile icon selection (the x-ray scope icon in this picture below for example.) This way, you will know which one is solid block and which one is not.

Okay. How do I open the second doorcap in the room in Maridia with all the pink pirates and three gray doorcaps? I really don't feel like going through those millions of puzzles throughout the planet again, so it would be helpful if someone told me where to go. Last item was plasma.

The three locations:

one you saw just past plasma, one in the lower section past gt, one in engineering past the large maze, the last two are indirectly and directly guarded by bosses

DonnyDonovan: I don't really know what to say about the difficulty. It seems like this has been received as harder than I had intended it to be. What's a good way to compare a hack to another? Offhand, if you beat Cliffhanger I would say you could do all of the tricks. I recommend using savestates though since there are no save stations and bosses are not announced.

I beat the easy version of cliffhanger. I'll probably give it a shot this weekend. If it's too much I can always just throw in the towel. There's been plenty of hacks I've finished and plenty where I've said "no thanks." I'm a pretty mediocre player.

Which one is the second door? I seem to remember doing all those said tasks...but not the "guarded by bosses" ones. Directions plox.

Sorry, I didn't have the right computer in front of me to check. You want:

The one past gt. Go down to a part where you need spingball to pass by some acid, the doorcap is in the room just past that. It's behind a gray door that needs the area boss dead before it will open.

namespoofer: Could be a couple of things, have you gone back to the large room with various types of door releases (one opens a section near icebeam)? Or, you could be missing the super missile block on the bottom of the water room near wave and super missiles.

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!

Lol i found a shot gate in grapple room. If you shoot with the wave down below the door, you can see a gate going up. Its easier to see with layer one turned off.

this was a great hack. Alot harder than I thought it would be, and alot more presition. but i like that
I got stuck alot of times and I didn't know where to go, but it worked out in the end.

Edit: Oh, it was another glitch. I had to download the newest version.

Clear time: 2:30, 35%
This was an okay hack. There were a fair share of tiling errors and some questionable aethetics, but nice overall concept. I was disappointed you didn't change the map layout, though.

I'm pretty sure I sequence breaked. I read about this earlier in the topic... Where you can bounce in the water to get over a pipe on the floor -underwater.

Anyway... In case I didn't S.B... I did make it to that room above the red Ki-hunters, to the left is the speed blocks.

Again, if I'm supposed to be here - where is speed booster? Otherwise... Where should I go after beating crocomire?

But that was a long bounce.

I did a mochball onto the 1st or 2nd block away from the gap. Just several pixels before I hit the water on the right most side I hold left.

Version 6: I'm not taking any more chances, that goddamn water bouncing thing is solved now. That's what I get for not encountering and being familiar with out of water to water physics.

You're looking for a door release above the big maze. Go through a room that has you grappling on the ceiling.

From the maze go up, then right, then lower right. It unlocks a door in a big room near where you entered this section.
