(awesome hack btw, I love how you changed the shade of blue on ice)

Yeah, head back down that path, there is a heated room you'll probably find right away.

The best part about testing this so much is that original ice beam looks pretty damn sweet after seeing darker blue for so long.

I'm currently there right now and found a boss I am disgusted with.

Unfortunately you'll need the boss reward to get out of that section, but there might be some items that could help you with the fight on the right side of that area...
OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
Ok I give up. I've been searching for days to find the varia and speedbooster. What really annoys me is how I found where to go when everyone else couldn't, but they all had the SB/Varia already at that point. I have gone and backtracked every room about 4 times now. I've read through this entire thread. I'm seriously considering going through every single room in SMILE to find it but I don't really want to spoil anything, and it's cheating.

Please help I'm going crazy trying to find either one!!!

I've got Spazer, Charge, Wave, Ice, 10 Supers, 45 Missiles, Grapple, X-ray, Morph, Bombs and High jump. Beaten SS and Croc.
You killed croc and can't find the varia?

It should be just past him, I think it's a 2x2 room in the upper left corner
OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
ohhhhh well at least i know where it is now. I tried to get up there but couldn't do it without getting hurt (and I didn't have much energy left), so I assumed I needed springball to get up there. Guess I'll just keep trying.
Go ahead. Stare.
You know Xaggoth, this hack is a love/hate thing for me. I love all your mechanical designs and after some items I've really been able to explore a lot. I found Spore Spawn and at first I thought it was the most convulted boss room I've ever seen, but I was surprised by how fun it was to actually play it. I found this room for my reward in the picture...

So not cool Xaggy, not cool at all... Brick wall I did get it open eventually...

Yeah, the reward for finding and figuring out all that nonsense is decent though.  To my knowledge no one has achieved 50% yet...

I'll try for the %50... I just finished collecting Plasma Beam, still have no idea what I'm going to be doing next. It has been very unpredictable so far.

EDIT: Just beat it in under 4 hours. Only have %43 though... It was very fun through most parts, but some things just dragged to me. The idea of going through a station with sealed corridors is awesome, and so was the hatches to open up the paths to later parts in the game. Phantoon was very interesting. Most of the items were hidden in great spots, namely Charge Beam, some super missiles, a few E-Tanks, and Gravity Suit.

I had an issue finding out some places. I missed the super missile block that eventually leads to "Norfair." Engineering was confusing for a long time...

Your use of the more mechanical tiles was very good. Despite using very few overall tiles I thought you used them in a way that made it feel different enough from each area, not really fresh feeling, but still good overall.

Overall I'd rate your hack at a 8.75. And I had a lot of fun playing it. I hope you plan on doing another hack someday.

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
WTF lol. The turtle thing was walking on air, and just walked straight through the blocks! laugh new

I'm not complaining; I got a free reserve tank!

In that area you're [intended?] to
jump on the little turtles a few times to get them to spin, then go down to the bottom -below where the enclosed reserve tank is.  That way one of the little turtles will reappear all the way back up there.

Or...  that's how it seems to work out.  aiwebs_002

Edit:  Hmm....  maybe if spikes on the ground were where you weren't supposed to stand...? Razz

That is how I was told to do it. Just one of the many weird rooms in the hack. All in all, still very fun and many intruiging puzzles.

I beat Crocomire and now i'm stuck.

Where am i supposed to go now?

Go ahead. Stare.
Make sure you collected the Varia Suit after Crocomire, and then head toward the room with the skeleton fish where you got Super Missiles near the underwater refill room. Bomb the floor in there. (The pipes give away where.)

Where do i go now?
i have 3 e-tanks 1 reserve 25 missiles morph ball bomb and wave.
Go ahead. Stare.
I'm very sure Grapple is next. (I can't check for sure because I had my computer wiped with all of my hacks on it... Evil or Very Mad)

Is there a general direction you can give me because i have been going in circles for awhile.

btw that really sucks.
Go ahead. Stare.
Unfortunately not very well. Crying or Very sad

Since you have Wave you should have come across a room somewhere that had a gate you needed Wave for, which should be Grapple afterward (I think...) This game would've been so much easier to remember if it had a map. I'm pretty sure it is connected to a tall verticle shaft with Rippers closer to the bottom. I think there is one of those bugs that latches onto you and sucks your brains out on the same platform as the door. If that isn't it I'm sorry, but that is the only thing I can think of right now...

EDIT: I know it is not behind a Power Bomb door/block. Rolling Eyes

Ok your right i found it but i can't get through the room before with enough health to get back out.

This hack is a little to hard for me....

Stucked again, got the Varia, Grapple, Ice, Charge & Wave Beams, but no signs of Power Bombs

Anybody knows where's the Power Bomb?

OMG FLAN!!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure there are no powerbombs in this hack. Unless they're so hidden it's just not funny. But they're not nessessary to finish this.
Go ahead. Stare.

I wrote this because...

There. Are. No. Power. Bombs. There are a gazillion and one PB doors around, and not one PB expansion... In my opinion one of the cruelest tricks in a hack ever. There is one thing that looks like you need a PB to open but... I won't spoil that for you if you find it.

I think I just refilled my health from a nearby room and then went in. I managed, with some savestates, to get to one side without being hurt, which helped on the way back because I couldn't avoid everything on the way back. I believe the room is filled with a myriad of spikes, or maybe I'm thinking of a different room... I'll have to download it again and see what I'm talking about eventually.

Yes painful spikes that want me dead. Shocked

I went in with full health too...

EDIT: I just did it but it was all luck. laugh new

You're stuck where just about everyone else got stuck.  There's a well hidden passageway by wave beam and the first super missiles.

You're supposed to go through it horizontally bombing.  No damage is possible, but it requires some precise bombing and a few tight walljumps.

Question Shocked Question
Walljumping? I never even guesed that... Though there were quite a few strange things I never really guesed in the hack though.

Bomb the floor, find a super missile block, follow that path.
