I was screwing around in the landing site and managed to get up to the ledge by ghetto jump or another ledge then SJ(sry i dont remember) And got through the door and all, then realized that if we can find a secret world in Landing Site, service access, or path of honor, we could completely SKIP losing your items.

Could you pull it off with the ISB glitch?
EDIT: Got it!
I managed to ISB and it shot me through the hole in the ceiling and i got into a SW, But this having been my first SW (yes i know) i fell through the wall trying to see how close i could get T-T
EDIT2:i tried it again, but no luck. It mustve been a 1-1,000,000 thing

I tried it at the door near the landing site. It worked after like the 5th time i tried.
I got it one time but it locked up on me(not the time i got into the SW)

i can't get the ISB on the doors near the landing site. i don't get far enough to get the ball stuck.

I dont really remember. There might be another way. Dont know if this is a know technique but a boost jump then IU from your ship might work.

Am I dreaming or is there any hope to skip losing the items ? That would definitely drop the lowest %.

Did you try it on the door to proceede to lose your items or did you try it up on the upper ledge that leads to the Spread Missile and super missle door? I want to try this for myself, LOL. As horrible as I am with the ISB glitch, its worth a shot, ya know?

I haven't seen a legitimate way of skipping the item loss, but you can do it with Action Replay. I've been (slowly, too slowly) uploading an 8% run to Youtube that uses moonjump to wallcrawl around the first dark world entrance. You can see the first segment below: [video]

I am not the player, I am merely uploading them to Youtube. To answer your question, no, the player uses moonjump throughout the run to avoid picking up anything other than the eight items. It's been a while since I watched the whole run, so I don't recall what the player collects.
