if you have the code to speed boost as soon as you move, jump or turn in a crouch, you can use that to do some sequence breaking, but be careful! if you grab a ledge you will boost through the wall. the codes are: 33001253 00A0  d0000020 0010  8300125e 00a0  d0000020 0020  8300125e ff60. if you use that code, use shinespark in any direction and then let go of the key. then as you hit a hatch, press the key that runs perpendicular (towards one another), and you should go through the hatch, ultimately allowing sequence breaking as long as the cheat is active. if you want an emulator then go to www.emuparadice.com.    :)

this is the first time i posted anything on this site so i don't know if it will be a question topic such as Terrization Zillion's "is the armor of samus like the sa-x?".
Thread title:
you could always just, you know, change samus's x position.

oh, and going through hatches doesn't let you sequence break anyway.

I am certain that there is absolutely no way to SB in fusion. using cheats doesn't even help.
with cheats you can find a few secrets.
at the beginning on thebfirst objective [kill the toad]
if you cheat the screw attack or anything else to get past the nav room., if you go to another nav room you will get the message:
hostile terminated

this iss inaccessable in the main gameplay.
That and "Target eradicated" are actually default "fallback" messages that get displayed when the game is not sure of the state it's in. They're not really secrets per say, more like debug code that you're never meant to see. One time I was having fun playing with a "fully powered suit" cheat and when I got to the first boss in SR-X, the bastard wasn't there. The game's so damn inflexible that even just having items in your inventory before you're meant makes the entire thing break down. It's really pretty lame, from the perspective of a game programmer - it requires actual effort to design a game engine so that it breaks in response to any unexpected input.

I don't think it counts as a true secret if it requires hacking and/or cheats. If there was a glitch allowing you to do it, I guess that would count since it is totally exploitable normally in the game.
Yeah. It is actually possible to see "Target eradicated" in normal (albeit madly skilled) gameplay, IIRC, by escaping from the BOX boss battle more quickly than they realized was possible - the navigation room state change doesn't happen until the boss room is completely changed, so if you wall jump out really quick, you end up stuck forever having Adam tell you that message.

Really? I didn't know that one was possible normally. Do you know of a video of it anywhere?
you're not stuck forever.

When I tried it I got stuck.
And that video did not show you getting back.
tried which one? and where did you get stuck?

The PYR one. The door is broken forever...
oh yeah i guess you're right. there's no way to go back through the top because there are crumble blocks

Is this possible?
not playing normally. the only possible ones are the three i posted above, and they're all tool assisted

Thanks. I have wondered about that for a long time.

Was still ridiculously fun to watch.

I don't think this way is completely out of the question, though I don't remember the frame boundary anymore
don't think it's anything more than like 10-15 frames. there's no way someone could do that on console.
I stand corrected :)
