For the Grapple Beam Route, it's almost definitely faster to go get seeker missiles first before ILS, for two major reasons:

1. After Light Beam, you can wallcrawl from Agon to the Torvus elevator directly rather than going through Temple Grounds
2. Don't need to get violet translator until getting light suit, meaning no more detour to Great Temple at the beginning of the game

So after getting Early power bombs, I'm having trouble wallcrawling to the elevator to Agon. In particular, I'm not sure how to unload Industrial Site while in Collapsed Tunnel, nor what spot I have to touch to hit the unloading trigger. Any tips on this? coughmilescough

Here's the fastest consistent strat I could find for Landing Site

no audio because apparently amarec was recording my mic and I was on skype while recording this. lol

Also the loading trigger is right under the first curve in the ball tunnel, it looks like you don't need to jump to hit it but I always do :P
So maybe I'm misunderstanding something but there's a way to get seeker before ILS? Or are u talking about using the ILS secret world then wall crawling to seekers?
using ISG to wallcrawl to seekers, before even doing ILS
Delaying violet to light suit isn't really viable with this route change actually.

After returning the sanctuary energy, the current route returns to temple grounds via agon, which there's a violet door in front of temple ground's elevator to agon. Meaning you'll have to use miles's route to go to agon, wallcrawl to torvus again, then go to temple grounds and do a horrible horrible door transition.

Since you're doing that by skipping violet, there's no reason to get seeker missiles first since you're passing by the seeker missile upgrade on your way to light suit anyways.

dang, that's a let down. :(

MP2 also a bit MP1 speedrunning
no, after returning the energy you just go over the central area transport west tunnel to go to the elevator to torvus again.
you get to the great temple over the sunburst room, which is barely slower than doing the stupid transition in great temple which also would mean that the seekers wouldnt be on the direct way anymore making it worth it to get them first.
i actually didnt think to do seekers first but it seems to be really quick, i found a very fast way to do seekers early, pretty nice to save another minute on that. dont you have to do ILS twice in order to do early seekers?
also maybe you can open the seeker door in torvus after the 2nd sandigger wallcrawl to skip the wallcrawl in torvus which probably makes it slower, but easier since you dont have to fight the pirates from OoB you also would be able to grab another power bomb expansion at the bridge.

but honestly i dont see a way that seekers first would be faster...
unless you do the OoB in the room what you enter after doing the instant morph in the seeker missile room without SA >_>
but, i think it'd be still faster to get seekers after light suit though.

i don't see how getting seekers after light suit would be faster honestly, at least if you don't skip violet translator.

Seekers first took itspersonnaltoo and miles around 3-4 minutes. If that's faster than the amount of time it takes to travel from agon to temple grounds to torvus temple (which is likely at least 5 minutes) minus the amount of time it takes to sanddigger SW straight to torvus temple, then seekers first is already faster.

If you delay violet translator until light suit, then yeah duh, of course you'd go get seekers before/after light suit because it's right there. But if you get violet translator earlier, then you'd want to return to great temple via agon after returning sanctuary energy
Never mess with the Bounty Hunter.
