I'm going to try a speed run in Fusion, but I need to play through it again to reaquaint myself with it, and I'm stuck-like-a-duck in the Tro catacombs. It's right after the Bomb Data download and the SAX nukes your escape route fairly early in the game. So now I'm going through the under-Tro area, and I'm in that pit with no obvious way out other than to double bomb jump and I just can't get it right. I lay the higher bomb at the peak of my first jump, but it doesn't connect. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there some other way out beside double bomb jumping?

It's impossible to bomb jump in Fusion.

You have to kill the Jumping Plant Hopper thingy which is accessed by going going in, uuuh... one of the doors on the right of that big shaft. You'll get to it eventually that Hopping Plant thingy and get the hi-jump and spring ball. Then you'll be able to get up that big shaft.

I think I know this place you speak of, you have to bomb around the ground and then a pillar rises out of nowhere. You use that to get out.

By the way, how did you record that Wazzup Dawgs. Nearly 22 MB for a five second video file is a bit large for my tastes even if it's perfect quality.

I'm using VBA's recording function. For some reason, the videos keep getting larger (bit wise) every time I record.

I just go to "Start movie recording", record Divx style, and... well that's what happens.

Believe me, they used to be a lot smaller than that. Nate should know that from all those SA-X vids.

You have to adjust the encoding options. Use the latest DivX codec, and avoid at all costs Full RGB Color (Uncompressed). :)
