1. Metroid (Haven't beaten it, but it's just great!)
2. Metroid Zero Mision (Like the first, only I've beaten it)
3.Metroid Prime (I like 3D stuff)
4.Super Metroid (What can I say?)
6.Metroid 2 (Bottom of the barrel, well, almost bottom)
7.Metroid Fusion (STUPID)
Note: Metroid 2 will not be included since I haven't played it at all.

1. Metroid Prime- I was simply wowed when I first played it.  The environment and music was simply superb.  Sequence Breaking rocks too!

2. Metroid: Zero Mission- An excellent remake that improves on the original in every way possible.

3. Metroid Fusion- Surprised on this?  It's metroid dangit, and one that I can blaze thru in under 1 1/2 hours.  SA-X freaked me out first time I saw it.

4. Super Metroid- This game was excellent as well.  It was hard deciding between whether #3 would be either MF or SM.

5. NES Metroid- This game was a crazy challenge.  30 energy every time you start up= ouch.

They're customizeable, buddy.

Its the way I have to switch between missles, super missles, and power bombs, that I don't like.. I like they way you switch in Fusion and Zero mission
Plus of course there's a seperate button for dashing.

I'm ranking them like this:

1. Metroid Prime
2. Metroid Fusion
3. Metroid: Zero Mission
4. Super Metroid
5. Metroid

Haven't played the Metroid II.
Viking
Precursor
Now I have played Zero Mission. So, my new list, complete with a grade on a ten-point scale.

1. Metroid Prime - 10/10
2. Super Metroid - 10/10
3. Metroid - 8/10
4. Metroid II: Return of Samus - 8/10
5. Metroid: Zero Mission - 8/10 (only thing that saves it from getting a 7 is Hard Mode)
6. Metroid Fusion - 7/10

No, I didn't like Zero Mission more than that.
1. Metroid I, Metroid II, Super Metroid (Gives me a true feeling of exploration. I love these because it was actually hard to find all the items the first time thru, but however, in MZM and MF every single item was marked on the map.)
2. Metroid Prime (More eye candy than gameplay, and missing a few items that would make a Metroid game i.e. High Jump Boots, Screw Attack.)
3. Metroid Zero Mission (Great remake, too darn short and easy. Beat it the first day I got it, and that was the day before it hit store shelves. It needs a very hard mode :) )
4. Metroid Fusion (One word, Adam. Its linearity takes the fun out of it.)
Hi, nice forum over here  :)

Since I only played Metroid 2, Super Metroid and Prime, I have to rank these games.

1) Metroid 2, because I am obsessed with Metroid since I first played the game ( even though I never finished the game  Crying or Very sad )

2) Metroid Prime, because I was surprised how good a Metroid game in 3D could be.

3) Super Metroid, because Prime has the 3D bonus and I only wanted to rank one game as 2nd.

I should really try to get a GBA so I can play the other games too.
1st is zero misson
2nd is Fusion
3rd is return of samus
i havn't played super or prime
