I'm not sure if this is new but I managed to get this after screwing around while being bored. It started from Sess's Nettori battle (of shooting a Missile right after the Charge Beam) and I decided to try the same trick against other bosses: X-BOX, Ridley, and mostly importantly SA-X.

This saves the hassle of waiting for SA-X to stop her Screw Attack  since you keep her frozen for all eternity so you can shoot her as soon as you charge up. You also stand directly in front of her so the flare always deal damage.

It might be safer, but with the screw attacking, you can shoot immedietly after charging, so you don't waste time shooting missiles.

I thought about that except when SA-X does the extremely high jump, it costs a lot more time whereas actually firing one Missile's time is pretty moot. Plus, I compared this to your 0:50 battle and it came out about 15 seconds faster.

That's not any less shots, is it? Do the missiles do ANY damage? If so, do they do enough damage that allows you to defeat SA-X in a previous encounter? I'm not sure if the beam will be strong enough to defeat the 2nd form though, but still....

The Missiles don't do any damage. It prevents the SA-X from moving completely so you can pummel her with Charged Plasma/Wave Beam at point blank range without the fear of her using Screw Attack and preventing damage. The point blank range does reduce the amount of beams needed to about 6 shots or so since the flare always hits. Compare this battle of about 7 seconds for first form after SA-X lands versus WD's 22 or so seconds in his 0:50.

Sorry this is off topic but when I open a .avi file it instantly uses Windows Media player.... but then I can't watch the clip I can only hear the sounds and watch some visualization. Any ideas?

Heck, I already have to fight avataritis against Nate. However, that's from when he had that painting of the wierd girl as an avatar. (Actually, that could've been a boy... it seems girlish, but also gender-neutral.)

As for people who've only seen the wheel of avatars, I wouldn't worry about avatar-itis... most of the pics aren't of people at all.

WD's a girl? What's the world coming to? Who started that topic confirming that they were, in fact, a guy? I think it was around March....
