Too bad indeed.
I always used Samus in SSB and SSBM, and that was even before I knew what Metroid was honestly.

You know who should be a character?

Viewtiful Joe.

He would fit PERFECTLY in Smash Bros.

Moves:
B - Slow Punch
Smash B - Voomerang
Up + B - Uh, whatever it's named... Zoom Jump
Down + B - Slide if on the ground, Redhot Kick if in the air

Don't forget his taunt!

Taunt - Whistles the first few notes of the SMB theme while kicking one of those pink bombs with his ankle up and down. Damage: ~3%

Wow, yeah, Viewtiful Joe would be awesome in the next SSB. He's already a side-scrolling dude, and he's also a character exclusive to Nintendo, so he could be used in the game.

I always used Ganandorf, Roy, or Peeach in the games, but I would say I'm pretty good with all the characters.

Falco is the best.

Actually, Viewtiful Joe has been released (AFAIK) on the PS2. Same thing with VJ2 (except it was released the same day as the GC version, not something like 9 months later).

Falco is the cheepest stupid character with the stupidest cheepest attacks that are only in comparison to the stupid cheepnest of Fox, Young Link and Sheekw/e.***

It really is too bad, that was one of those games that made it worth owning a Gamecube.  I get the feeling, though, that the Gamecube is destined to join the Dreamcast on the shelf.  Nintendo will never go under like Sega, not with the DS given its uniqueness next to the PSP, but the Gamecube will have an early death, I think.

Oh, I never knew it was released on the PS2.Apparently it just came out on it this year, though. Go me not knowing anything about the PS2 (I can't stand it).

Nah, I don't think the GCN will get lost behind the other two main consoles. If any console will, it's the XBOX...it has barely any good games (of course, I don't think the PS2 has many either, but oh well). Plus, Microsoft always finds a way to make the general public hate them.

The general public continues to buy Microsoft products, though.  The hate for big business doesn't usually change the amount of revenue that the business makes.  I actually have more respect for the Xbox than I do for the PS2.  The controller has quirks which make it better for some games and worse for other games, whereas the PS2's is well-rounded but therefore not very well-suited to any type of game.  Let's face it, once Microsoft built a controller shrink-ray they had an almost perfect controller.  You ask me, add secondary shoulder buttons and give it the ABXY action button layout of the Gamecube and you would have yourslef a perfrect controller.  That doesn't mean that I'll ever learn to aim with a thumbstick in FPSs, something that I seem to have a mental block about, but that's just my incomptence.  The Xbox also has Halo and Halo 2, both of which were in turn the most amazing video games I have ever played.  (I actually play Halo on the PC, not actually owning an Xbox, but there you are...)  Halo basically ensured the financial security of the Xbox investment for a very long time.  Many people buy one just for Halo.  The PS2, on the other hand, seems to be...well, flat.  Its graphics are uninteresting and its multi-company third party games I find are much preferable on other systems.  I don't care if the PS2 is more powerful than the Cube, when I look at SW:  Clone Wars played on both systems the PS2 graphics are inexcusably inferior.  The polygons are way too obvious and the environments just fail to suspend disbelief.

Wow, I'm ranting.  Back to Smash Brothers.

Yes, I definitely like the XBOX much better then the PS2.

I also like the Cube more than the PS2.  I'll admit that the PS2 is techincally more powerful, but what I see on the Cube I generally like more than what I see on the PS2.  Smash Brothers being one.  No other fighting game comes close to Smash Brothers, except for Soul Caliber II, and the general version of choice with gamers, if I'm not mistaken, is the Cube version because of Link.

I did not know that; although I do know that the PS2 is technically more powerful than the XBOX.

What?  What are you talking about?

As far as what I know, the PS2 is way behind the XBOX and the GameCube. I seriously think that the 'Cube has more power than the other two, even if the numbers say differently, because everywhere you look, the numbers for each system are different. From what I've seen, the GCN has better graphics, faster speeds, and rarely ever crashes, unlike the PS2 and XBOX.
X-Box is easily the most powerful system on paper; however, being Microsoft, they've yet unleashed the true potential. The end result is not simply the sum of the parts.

The GameCube was designed to be small and efficient. Each individual part is no doubt slower compared to the X-Box but they actually work together properly. This is why they can be compared head to head and some cases even surpass the X-Box.

The PlayStation 2 is a year behind technology wise. It shouldn't even be considered. Don't know what you're saying. I have yet to see a case that shows the PS2 beating either X-Box or GCN, let alone both.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
You're saying it like XBox and GCN are super computers compared to the PS2.  The difference is more noticeable than between GCN and Xbox, but, in reality, when it really comes down to it, there's little difference.
I'm saying the difference is quite noticeable, which it is. Plus, a year separates them, which is why they shouldn't really be compared. Kind of like dragging out the Dreamcast versus PS2.

I like the homing missles in SSBM.
Sorry to bring a topic back. I had to say that though.

Much appreciated, actually.

I prefer to use the Side-Smash B Missles, which I call Super Missiles, but the Light Side B Homings  have their uses.  Confusion, mostly, and to try to flush the opponent in a ceratin direction...
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I like using bombs for recovery.  It feels... weird.
You mean there are other characters in SSB:M?
I alternate between Samus and Shiek/Zelda
On Samus the screw attack kiunda sucks, I don't think they did it justice. Anyone with me on that?
Well, they can't make one character overpowered compared to the rest right? They have to bring down some of the abilities to do that unfortunately, and the Screw Attack is one of them.
I hardly ever play as Samus. I'm a swordsman guy, ya know, Marth, Roy, Link (who's incredibly powerful in SSB:M, too powerful even; borders on cheap). Link and Kirby have the most differences from SSB to SSB:M, Kirby sucks in Melee, and Link is just way too powerful.
