I had this happen to me. I shot 30 supers into him, and then he died in a couple seconds without grabbing me. I asked Kejardon about it, and he couldn't come up with a solid explanation. Ridley was on the far right of the screen, against the wall, facing left. Kej thought maybe he got stuck in a loop between being "hitting a wall" and being on his destination point for falling back from a charge, touching both points at once to instantly loop his cycle counter up to 10, when he would normally die without grabbing you. But apparently the hitbox the game uses to check for that is too small to be on both at once, so we don't know for sure. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
