Is Halo's multi-player any good?
Yep, it sure is! (11)
No, it sucks. (6)
Is Halo a great Multi-Player? :P  Or does it suck? Evil or Very Mad
(Regarding the PC version, not the XBox version)

Oops, I voted yes before I realized you meant PC. Well, either way it's still good probably. I've never played PC multi myself, but a few of my friends have and they say it's awesome.

Well, it is in the PC Games catigory.  Well any ways, there aren't that many differences between the two, ecsept two new weapons and Banshees in multi-player.
my view is "meh, its decent"

its not bad, its nothing amazing, but its good enough to play.

far too slow of a game to me though.
Here's what you do:  Forget the comp version, buy the X-Box version, and an X-Box if you don't have one.  Sell your computer if you have to!  X-Box Halo Rox!
What if you have both? :?
Never play the PC version....isn't that obvious?
What if your younger brother Is always playing on the XBox?
Ok. I'll answer one more, but that's it.  Younger = kickoffable.  Also, nobody can ALWAYS be playing.  You can find time.  Are you really gonna make me answer these incredibly obvious questions?  Play something else! Halo isn't everything.
Your right Halo is over rated.  Banjo-Kazooie had a better plot anyways.  multi-player is something I have already seen.  Vehicles are just a little add on that wasn't that new.  Metroid Prime has better controls, and Luigi's Mansion had better graphics.  Halo isn't horrible, but it ain't great.

Well is there a timmer that you can see? :? If yes, then you can.  I'm asking since I don't have any Spyros.
I've played Halo ALOT before..Halo 2 will be better. Laughing
Multiplayer is a killer.
Halo PC Multiplayer= Ok.. It's not bad, not good.. It's great if you get on a server with no lag or very little lag.. make sure to have a good video card though.. PC= 16 players.. Xbox (not Xbox Live)= 4 people.. Do the math.. BTW there is one other add on in PC's multiplayer.. Rocket Launcher Warthog.. Have fun..
Oh, it's that guy
well, I suggest getting used to keyboards if you used to use the x-box version *points to self*, cause to me its un-playable...and my PC controller broke! (why did it have to be the FIRE button??? Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad ) so now I'm worse then the newbs :x ...

thats my X cents

Keyboard's not that difficult.. w=forward a=left s=back d= right f=melee g= change grenade (Ex: Plasma to frag) e= action space= jump r= reload q= flashlight z= zoom.. Erm, Multiplayer extra functions: t= all chat y= team chat h= vehicle chat..
My understanding is that PC Halo sucks in comparison to Xbox Halo, despite the fact that Halo was originally meant for the PC.  I find it strange that they couldn't have done a better job porting it given the amount of time they had to work on it and the fact that the Xbox essentially is a PC.

PC Halo multiplayer works better for me because I already have a paid-for Internet connection so I don't have to deal with Xbox Live and all that jazz.  Console play is definitely superior, however.
Console play is Superior that is true, but I beg to differ concerning Multiplayer options Max 16 players a server with over 400 servers.. The fun never stops does it. Anyway, yes Xbox play is superior because Halo was given more time to be thrown together on the Xbox, as Halo 2 is now. Halo PC was given a little less time resulting in worse actions for example (this applies for my computer)
1-I see blood squirt out, but there is none on the floor..
2-Game is zoomed in more than the Xbox
So far only these bother me.. Aside the fact I need a new video card to show armor color..
I've played both X-Box and PC Halo.  I prefer PC, and I'll tell you why:

Graphically X-Box takes it, unless you have a really, really nice PC.

However, control is far smoother with the Keyboard/Mouse setup.  It's hard to get used to when you've grown up on controller based Halo, but it's nice when you get used to it.  The problem with this is that it results in a somewhat easier single player mode, since the levels are designed with a controller-based player in mind, not mouse and keyboard.  Your increased aiming ability makes it a lot easier, which can be bad if you're looking for a challenge.

Multiplayer:  PC wins hands down.  More weapons, more vehicles, more players, and 6 new large multiplayer maps.  There is a lag issue, but if you have a good connection, it's not too bad, and adjusting is not much of a problem.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
The only reason I play Halo on the PC is for the online multi.  I can't stand playing campaign on it.  I play campaign on the Xbox.
I enjoy Legendary mode Campaign for the PC.  It's a challenge that makes the added controllability worth it.
