Awesome, a new font at the homepage (all I see diff)! Go Nate go.  :o

Bah. Who needs html?

BTW, what about old links/bookmarks? They still link to the HTML pages, which I guess will either never be updated again or eventually die (although links on those go to php land).

EDIT!: Wait, scratch that last parenthesis remark. You only end up in php land if you click the logo, because it takes you to www.metroid2002.com/ and not a specific page.
as usual, yoshi thinks of everything.

yeah, figured i would let those live another week or so and then put in a redirect for *.html -> *.php, and then delete the *.html.
I thought the text looked smaller. But the text in the red zone is microscopic.

Doesn't look different to me. Then again, I have text size set to "Smaller" anyway.
interesting ... can you increase the text size to compensate?

Oh, I see what he means now... The subcategories on the prime menu at least are smaller and hard to read. Changing the text size under IE only changes the size of anything that's in bold (headlines, dates), which is wierd. I wonder if other browsers have the same thing (or even have the same option).
Changing the text size only seems to change the size of "Metroid whatever page" and "News".

Edit: Heh, Yoshi got to it first.
I wouldn't know all of this cuz I have a saved link that takes me straight to the Forum.
Heh, I always thought it would be a good idea to have php on the site.

But on another note, on the index page, it still links to .html.  It also seemed to randomly go between .php and .html at one point.
how does that look?

try hitting reload a couple times and see if it still does that.
Aahh, much better.

EDIT:

One other thing I noticed forever ago but forgot to mention... Why does it say "Speed Breaking" in the fusion section's menu?
because there is supposedly no such thing as 'sequence breaking' in fusion, at least not in the sense that we used it to describe what we were doing in prime.
Text is bigger than it used to be. :?

Same size it was for me. Did you have text size set on "Smallest" or something?
Not impossible
just highly unlikely
You can probably take that css warning off the front page now, hey?
nah, the appearance is still controlled by css. just most of the includes are done with php instead of javascript, and the javascript menu in the prime section is now compatible with all of the other sections (though they are not currently active), as well as being compatible with non-js-capable browsers.

and the text size will now be larger if you are using a real browser, unfortunately. will try to talk to my style guru tomorrow to see what can be done.

Wha'ts PHP? I keep thinking it's that drug, PCP.

PHP is an HTML-embedded scripting language. Much of  its syntax is borrowed from C, Java and Perl with a couple of unique  PHP-specific features thrown in. The goal of the language is to  allow web developers to write dynamically generated pages quickly.

So what's PHP?

PHP stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor. This confuses many people because the first word of the acronym is the acronym. This type of acronym is called a recursive acronym.

Weird.  Ok, cool.
This board is coded in PHP, for one.
Lots of syntax based thingies, stuff with the same general appearance, but different content/text is done in such database-ish things, like PHP, ASP (to an extent), and SQL (though I believe that pretty much only keeps numbers).
