DAMN THIS GAME!!!
I use... a moon jump code... to get to the top of TRO before Zazabi, and what do I find? THE DOORS DON'T WORK!!! DAMN THAT COMPUTER!!! CURSE IT UNTO THE SEVENTH GENERATION!!!
Edit: Further research has shown that odd things happen when you Moon Jump to Nettori before Zazabi. Firstly, the door behind the Core-X is open, so you can carry the Core-X music around the game. Second, it opens the blue doors rather than giving the Plasma Beam, even if the blue doors are already open. Thirdly, if you exit during the battle, the vines will be gone until you go to the Save Room in Reactor Core, when they will return.
Edit 2: Further research shows that:
1) If you attempt to reach an area that cannot be reached normally before a given point by using cheat codes, the doors will not work.
2) If you attempt to fight a boss before it should be fought, it acts as an enemy (i.e. respawns)
3) If you activate an event before it should be activated, it will continue to be present on the map, and it will give you THE LAST SECURITY DOOR CLEARANCE YOU RECEIVED.
Conclusion: Fusion won't break. Full stop.
