...and I'm really stumped. There only seems to be one in Norfair; it's the last thing I need to hit 100%. If anyone could point me to the general area it's in, I'd appreciate it.

Far left-side of Norfair. Remember when you were working your way down through to reach the Imago Larva and Ridley's area? And there was an area of fake lava you passed through? And there was a pool of real lava below that? Try taking a swim in there, and blowing through the wall to the right. Then you'll find your lost upgrade :)

You know, I know the lava part you guys are talking about, but where do get the original Power Bombs? I'm in the midst of fighting Mother Brain and I realized I never did get the Power Bombs. Can't figure where I missed them?

Don't worry about it for now. It's best to think about stuff like power bombs and your unknown items on your second playthrough.

Fine, I'll tell you but it's a huge-ass spoiler. You have been warned.

The game doesn't end at mother brain. You can't get power bombs until after you beat her.

Ah, OK, got it. Thanks, I appreciate the tip.

Also, I think it's nice the way you handle spoilers at this forum, with the black-on-black. I've never seen that.

yeah and its going to be needed when Prime 2 comes out. After all we poor europeans don't want the americans to spoil all our fun.
