death yon
I can't seem to find any information on this animation. Ive played through metroid prime at least 15 times, seen it played about 5, and im all over beta assests and reading up on every little detail about the games production.
While I was playing through the game drunk I entered the root cave and ran past the beetles onto a rock.
They started squealing, hopping in place, and even barking, moving there mandibles and looking side to side.
Since then I have attempted to recreate this odd spectacle but it appears they only do it in the root cave.
Have I stumbled across some rare ai programming, or is this already known and somehow ive missed it all these years?
