Randomizer release

Ok so I just downloaded the randomizer files and I have an iso and the repacker thing and all that but how the hell do I get this to work?! Everywhere I look the instructions don't make any sense... The "Metroid Prime Randomizer.bat" file doesn't dump the iso and just gives me errors so I can't even get it to work. Can I get clear cut instructions because the ones provided make no sense.

So I think I figured it out but the game is unplayable... Black screen and the only actual things i can see is way off screen so I can't play the game because it doesn't display in the window in Dolphin properly and is also is really glitchy colors... Turns out closing and re-opening the game "fixed" the display glitching and it seems to be working as the spacejump boots spawn is now a missle upgrade! :)

Alright so I'm attempting to use the Seed generator but it is unable to read the log files outputted because of the "Randomizer V3.2" line at the top. Removing this line fixes it but I'd have to go through and remove it every time I didn't get a completeable run which could take many iterations. Any fix available? All versions beyond 2.0 have this line and I've tried running 2.0 but I get an object exception at roughly 82% from the randomizer.

I tried downloading the 3.2 version of the randomizer and I have no idea how to get it to work, i can open the .exe file but if i hit any key it closes so i can't do anything at all with it?! Literally all the program does is open and it says some stuff about finding the game location and closes if i do anything. Why is this the new link if the program doesn't work when the older one did?

Can someone please explain to me in detail how to get this new program to work? I have been trying for days with no success. No matter what i do the program opens up a command window with text and if I touch anything it closes and that is ALL. I want this to work but can't find anyway to make it do anything at all!

Unfortunately our randomizer is a bit convoluted to work with, and I don't recommend using Claris's randomizer on its own as it does not guarantee that seeds it generates can be completed. Instead, use the Prime randomizer script along with Interslice's seed generator; it requires a tiny bit of setup (only one time though) and once you're set up you can quickly randomize and start playing.

Seems there's another one of these now which is multiplatform, integrates PAK and ISO support as well as a solver and offers a lot more options:

I've been playing it for a few weeks and it's great.

Disappointing that the source code package only contains the UI sources and none of the actual important code. I wanted to port it to the Wii but oh well.
