Hello, I'm new here.  I recently started a 1% run.  After hundreds of deaths on Nightmare, I finally beat him.  Now I am stuck on Ridley.  GameFAQs has already given me advice for that, and that isn'y why I am posting.  This may be old, but I recently discovered that if you pseudo screw attack Ridley and space jump away fast enough, you can hurt him without being hurt.  I found this out because I kept a charge while hanging out around the ceiling.  So far, I can't use this with much luck, and I'm not sure specifically what you need to do, but I wanted to share this with you guys.  Plus, I love all your vids ^_^.

BTW, sorry if I made any spelling errors, I have to hurry so I can watch Gundam SEED. >_>

i just rely on luck for ridley  :?

a few spelling mistakes are okay, so long as they arent intentional things like l33t.

Same thing happened to me. Not only can I not play it, but I can't get my Fusion suit in MP =(

As for Ridley, just keep on blasting him. Try to missile him as much as possible at the beginning of the fight when you have about half a second or so of free firing time before he gets close enough to you.

Charge shots when you're on the ground, missiles when he's got you in the air, he'll be dead pretty quick.  Don't even bother with the Mozu attack, it's not worth it.
