I could add compression with DivX.  DivX Codec works with AVIs.
Bangaa Bishop
Leave out the compression. The videos need to be processed in a special way and I have no idea if the sda program will work if it has divx on it. Just follow my guidelines and we can get this done as soon as possible. :)
...
And it must be done soon, because my Camtasia trial version is almost dead.

phaz try to get back to me as soon as you can.

And if anyone else would like to lend a hand please do.
Use no$gba, and give me uncompressed AVIs (zip them up) and i'll process them for Nate to use on the site.
...
The situation is just about taken care of.  Yesterday, I found this new piece of software (RAD Tools) which can convert Quicktime MOV files to AVIs.  Now I can just use that on my Quicktime files and I'll be done.
except that the quality's already shot, lol. at that point you'd be better off sending the movs. no one cares about the format, the point is the quality.

rad game tools has been around for ages btw. :p

You don't need to re-do the videos, you just need to publish them as AVIs. You can use the original source recordings to do that, as I said earlier. It's really pretty simple. I can handle the video processing, you just need to give me something to process.
...
Check the Mediafire link I posted earlier in this topic.  All movies should be fixed now, all you need to do is download them and then process them with that SDA program.

After I get some sleep I'll see what I can do. >.>

By the way, if you're bored enough feel free to record some of the more notable secret worlds if you know how to do them.
(I was able to pull off the early volt driver SW on a real system but it's really tough with my clumsy control setup in the emulator).

(Though, most secret worlds in this game aren't interesting as you usually just fall to your death. Only a few like the shock coil one don't kill you)
...
I know how to get into quite a few SWs, but most of them just kill you.  I will record them if I have extra time, but for now you can just process my existing videos.

They all seem to have been updated except the tetra vista one. The videos are great- sound would be nice, see if you can do it with the sound on for future ones, but other than that, very nice. I can use this.

Try to do the early volt driver SW, I'm having some trouble pulling it off on the emulator.

A tip that might help your FPS slightly- hit ctrl-alt-del and open task manager, processes tab, and right click on no$gba.exe and point to priority- Try setting it to high. (terminate as many other background programs as you can before doing this). Do not set it to "Realtime", it will probably cause windows to lock up.

Finally, if you know who discovered any of these, feel free to tell me so proper credit can be given.
...
My computer's volume is on 100%, but I'm still not getting sound.  I probably need a recordable sound card or something.  And I forgot to update Tetra Vista, I will do that as soon as possible.  And coming soon are some more Arcterra and VDO speed tricks, the Trace boss trick, and the famous Piston Cave skip.  Recording will start soon.  Oh, and by the way, that Noxus trick is my original trick--it was discovered by me, so make sure I get credit on the site.

Check your emulator settings and make sure sound is not turned off.
Only turn it on though, in areas where you're gettin g asolid frame rate. You'll probably have to use camtasia's funciton to remove noise from audio in any case.

Mediafire update complete.  All currently recorded movies should be uploaded and working.  Time to record the next batch.

Edit: BTW, Tahngarthor, I read some of those descriptions and they're looking pretty good.  Check Mediafire daily, as you never know when a new video will be uploaded.

Did you check if no$gba's sound is turned off? It may be disabled by default. (if you can get it turned on and it sounds really crackly, Camtasia has a function that can remove the garbage from the sound.)

You can go back to the post you made regarding Echo Hall now and add the video and description.  Also, as an update, all Arcterra part 1 (first time you visit) videos should be uploaded onto Mediafire.  And as for those lesser-known tricks without credit given, here are the finders some of the tricks:

Compression Chamber Speed Trick: Discovered by Droonandi

Spire Boss Trick: Discovered by Droonandi(DBJ and basic method), Phazar(missiles on Dialanche from above)

Noxus Boss Trick: Discovered by Phazar

Ice Hive Speed Trick part 1: Missile Jump technique discovered by Phazar, as alternative to the annoying float originally found by bartendorsparky

Sanctorus Speed Trick: Discovered by Phazar

Yeah, so I've found a lot of stuff for this game.  Probably because no one else wants to even play it.  They will after we get this done, though.
