I think M2k2's definition is simply going outside the normal bounds of a room/level, regardless of what the effect is.

yea, M2K2's deffinition.  but with hunters we need to be specific.  not just numbering the hundred different glitches with secret world #1-who knows what number.

Hunters is no different than any other of the prime games when it comes to the definition of a secret world and their being numbered. "shadow world" is not how MPH works, it's how the noob boards work. We don't need to be more specific with MPH than we do with any of the other prime games.

According to M2k2, SCU (may you rest in peace), and in general, Metroid people - secret worlds.

Both are applicable, but it's considered better to use the term 'secret world' when you're in a forum that's been using that term since its creation.
