MP2 also a bit MP1 speedrunning
well, so i tried to get my hands on a programm that can cut out the cutscenes, textboxes ect. to get the pure ingame-time video, found a program that seemed to be good (was called somewhat like avs4u) but that programm completely failed me, i just encoded some videos and they just we'rent accurately cutted (parts of the cutscenes where still in the video and some parts of the ingame video where cut out... what the hell >_> )
anyways, so i wanted to ask who has a good programm to do that kinda stuff frame-by-frame. like miles did it here in his 1:01 run:

it would probably also be good to have a detailed explanation about how to figure out the exact ingame time from a save using memory card manager (miles was somewhen explaining that to me, but i didnt really get it, just saw the memory card manager still remaining on my homebrew, because i wanted to do a segmented run now i thought its probably a good idea to have a quick way to figure out the savetime after finishing a decent segment..)

virtualdub lets you cut down stuff manually pretty well. relying on a program for this sounds like a bad idea since they're gonna cut the wrong part often.
