The Hacks and Fan Games subforum was created so users interested in talking about and sharing their hacks/fan games could have a whole board dedicated to such to post on. However, some users seem to think that this means the Hacks board is somehow exempt from the rules the rest of the forum is governed by. This is strictly not the case.
This board is less moderated than the rest because it is primarily trafficked by a very small section of the m2k2 community and therefore shouldn't require as much policing. From what it looks like, though, a lot of users have been taking advantage of this, so from now on the other mods and I will be watching considerably more closely. I expect every post here to adhere to the forum rules, and I won't hesitate to ban any user who can't consistently follow them.
