You can skip the wave beam, power grip (wait, I knew about this, hahah!), and screw attack? o_O
And wow, you did that fast. I thought I was awesome with 1:20, skipping almost every weapon and the high jump boots.
I must see your movie.
-edit- You sent it in to nate, right? Hope it goes up. I sent in 4 movies of early item collection (an energy tank and 3 missiles), and an idea for using the bomb jump trick easier, but he never responded or put it up. _________________ DESnet -http://www.dragoneyestudios.net-
You can't skip the power grip because of this www.metroid2002.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1741

Look at the picture.
Dude, seriously, I'm starting to twitch here, I thought I told you to look at the dates. That post that you quoted was posted 343 DAYS AGO, that's almost a year, for crying out loud. And use the quote button. It can't be that hard to keep these things in mind.
Well... I hadn't played the game in like 9 months before I took it again a week ago. I made one crappy 57 min run back then without trying to go really fast and without even knowing where I was heading to.
Then I remembered taking the high jump boots was faster so I re-did a run, being a bit more careful and saving before crucial parts. This is the result, I'm pretty happy about it, as I took like 1h and a half this afternoon to do this. Most of the time (not in game) was spent trying to skip acid worm. I just really wanted to do it but since I had never attempted it it took a few tries...
Yeah. Basically, he ignored the rule about bumping really old ass topics irrelevantly, and ignored my repeated warnings to the effect. Completely ignoring mods gets you banned right quick.
I hate it when people just say "bump" on forums; what good does that do?
Well, it's somewhat nice on GameFAQs forums where there is absoutely no Sticky function, so you can make a mini-FAQ for the board and reduce the 5000000000 instances of the same question to 4999999990.
I counted the number of bumps on a GameFAQs forum once. I didn't finish: I think I got up to over 100; then I got bored and went away. A 1337 dictionary would also be useful.
