Sorry, phrased that wrong. I've unlocked 4, he's unlocked 1, so 3 left. Normal 100% under 2 hours, Hard 100% under 2 hours, Hard 15% or under. Well...this'll be tough, especially for someone like me with no patience and leaves screwups in instead of restarting.

Dude, you have to be either trying or sharking to get max timer. Or maybe you just left it on or something.

Yeah, I think it's impossible, unless he left it on until the batteries were almost dead, saved, recharged/changed batteries and repeted a few hundred times.

Hahaha, dude, your time was SO hard to beat. I think I only gained time from skipping saves (5 total segs). And the last seg. I saved 30 seconds ahead, so I assume you just lost a TON of time on the last seg and didn't notice it (I didn't notice when watching either, so it's reasonable)... so yeah. I do believe sub 00:30:00 is possible though, so I guess that could be a goal. After you get the record back, though, and when I'm done with everything I'm doing, I'll try again... if your time is even beatable. I ended the first seg 3 seconds ahead, that's how close this run was. I also think I gained some time on my second to last seg (went from before Mother Brain to after the new suit, and I didn't save anywhere out of the way). That was easily the hardest seg, and while I fucked up after getting the new suit (accidentally sparked the wrong way >_<), I kept it anyway, since I probably only lost like 3 seconds. Anyway, as for watching it, I'm gonna do an any% hard on the same tape just to get a time up so people will start competing for that... I, for some reason, want to have several records for this game, hahaha. So uh, thanks man, good luck on beating it.

Man, I was so very proud of finally beating it under 45 minutes today (bah, 44:53), but now you guys make me wanna try it again, this time, perfectly. By the way, I firmly believe you people are crazy for doing bitch before Kraid. I think it's fastest to have speed boost as early as possible so it can be used throughout Norfair. Kraid isn't so bad with regular missiles.

Okay, what do you guys think I should do, another 15% run trying to beat 40, or any%? Bosses suck with only 6 supers...woah...I just realized...it's not so hard...without...screw...attack...8 SUPER MISSILES IS PLENTY!!! OR 10 IF I'm CRAZY ENOUGH TO SKIP THE ENERGY TANK!!! What do you think? Much less time, I can still do a fast 15%. How about it, should I try Normal or Hard? If it's really good, will it be a seperate category? Or is it still considered any%? I just know somebody will beat me, but I just wanna know if it's even worth it to compete (can't record and I'm not so perfect as to get every segment as a lowest possible time, so won't go on the site anyways).

I have 0:24:32 at the first savepoint in Chozodia. I think I'll get a fairly good ending time, for my first REAL speed run in MZM anyway....

Just beat my own time again...1:01:05 Normal 100% single segment. Only a handful of mistakes all under 20 seconds except one.

but if you don't have power grip @ kraid, you can only skip acid worm if you can diagonal bomb jump, and that's hard. but now that I think of it, it should be faster....

Meh, I'll call this a practice run 40% 0:59:51 I messed up a lot, and if I skipped two of the Super Missiles I picked up I could probably dropped a few minutes off, 5 at the most, I went for the Crateria one after before Power Grip and spent like 3 minutes or so.

Sorry, I forgot about that. The difficulty was normal, and the % was the same as in Gamecube04's run. I think it was 24%, but I ain't sure.

I finished an Easy run in some time like 1:35, forgot percentage, and a Hard in about 2:09, 52% I think. I could have gotten under 2 hours on the hard, but those damned Metroid took 20 minutes. Anyways, gonna work on under 2 hours 100% normal now.
