I haven't beaten the game yet, but this could be a fun topic to post for what you got your first time through.

My first time (this morning before I went to sleep) was 4:52 with 68%

The time is deceptive because I used save states rather than normal saving, so very little time was wasted 'in game.'  It actually took me over 12 hours.

I thought I played extremely thoroughly, so the percentage was surprisingly low.

If Tooz played it on easy, then it's probably by playing on Normal and beating the game in <4 hours, I'm guessing.

Because of difficulty, I presume. A friend of mine got relatively the same time and % as me, but I was playing an easy game. He was on normal.

Aww I was robbed.
I took a pic of it, but forgot how to do what I need to post it up.

2:03:54, 65%? (or 64%) on Normal.

Still got just the no-helmet Samus.

Ah well..I'm satisfied with my sampling of the game, I can wait until it comes out normally to replay and try for 100%.

Normal mode, 3:42:33, 68%... but of course I was hardly going for speed.  I spent about 5 minutes trying to get a super missiles expansion and eventually gave up.

47:42 32% 32 Segments, all recorded, early Varia, Kraid w/o power grip, skipping screw attack and wave beam.

43:06 33% Singel Segment no Varia Ridley before Kraid. (Forgot to record this, in fact, I didn't expect it to be that good)

You can skip the wave beam, power grip (wait, I knew about this, hahah!), and screw attack? o_O


And wow, you did that fast. I thought I was awesome with 1:20, skipping almost every weapon and the high jump boots.

Hope it goes up. I sent in 4 movies of early item collection (an energy tank and 3 missiles), and an idea for using the bomb jump trick easier, but he never responded or put it up.
