I like how the dust coverings make the laptop look like a decoration.
It fulfills more functional needs than decoration. The laptop gets very hot while playing 3D games and I don`t want to damage the display. I leave it open all the time. However, the housing is already damaged, because the joints are far to tight (and the service could not fix it...) and you need far to much force to open/close it. It`s a Siemens laptop and there is a famous saying: Wollen sie was Gutes oder wollen sie was von Siemens? You want something good or you want Siemens?
Cheap customer crap. Next one will be a normal PC anyway.
you can also see my ex-DS thats leaning on my monitor. its ripped in half, the back cover is gone, the we ripped the first film off of the touch screen. It also has a metroid prime hunters skin on it (my fav game for the DS, along with animal crossing).
Anyways, why do you have some kind of leaning tower of cases on the right side of your moniter?
that would be a stack of computer games. In the following order: (first one is the top-most box, the last one is the bottom-most box)
The elder scrolls: Morrowind World of warcraft: burning crusade Battlefield 2 complete collection LOTR: Battle for middle earth 2 Halo Windows Vista (XP ftw) Need for speed: Carbon Black & white 2 Battlefield 2142 deluxe edition Need for speed: Prostreet Lost planet: extreme conidition Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Battlefield 2142 Black & White 2: battle of the gods
I have a lot more just haven't bothered to stack them.
Just moved into my room at school this year. Nearly as big as last year's, only this time I have no roommate. Figured I'd share my desktop + a little more. Please excuse the terrible picture quality— that's my laptop's camera, the only one I have.

And a sneak peek under my bed!!:
All I'm missing is a refrigerator, which will be added soon, and posters, which will be added sometime.
nate is correct. I've named him Clockface for obvious reasons. His 'hands' are actually spring–loaded claws meant to hold pictures, but I never bothered giving him any.
my whole current setup. Yes the tv is my second monitor, and i would have a desktop in here but it very recently kicked the bucket. I really need to get a desk.
cute. i forget, can you set up the displays in the displays system preference pane so that the tv one is on top of the laptop one instead of side by side?
got a "new" addition to my setup—becky—the other day and a monitor (that actually is new) to go with her. so now i've got an incredibly crowded desk in my fairly tiny room. no idea how things are going to work out like this.
sorry for the poor quality of the pictures; i don't actually own a camera, so those are video stills from my cheap video recorder.

Doesn't actually look that bad unless you are expecting us to read what games you have on the left.
Here is my desktop.
Those wires actually go to things. One by the chair goes to a headset you can't really see. Other one is cell phone. The ones under the desk are for ps3, wii, etc.
