Oh and also 4:20.25 NTSC 0-00 Frigate escape (was in the same run as the 1:44) I really need to get a new computer fast so that I can record these things. (typing via Wii atm.)
Well there's two things that I can't do that'd save time.
1 is the fricking Thardus Dash and 2 is climbing up the Crashed Frigate to get to Phazon Mines quicker.
icr what route I follow exactly but all I know is that I pick up the missile expansions around the same time Sparky did in his run. (also I collected 0 energy tanks to save more time.)
Oh and before I forget I also can't climb up PPC without killing the pirates (No matter how fast I go they always knock me down.)
quick edit: also I'm terrible at aether jumping in Prime 1 so I ommited the use of SW's. (is it just me or is aether jumping easier in Prime 2?)
In prime 1, falling locks your horizontal momentum. prime 2 and 3 have more air control and allow you to change your horizontal direction while falling. thus if you miss an aether jump in mp1 you fall all the way down to the standard. in 2 and 3, you can quickly pull back if you miss and lose almost no height.
i think just getting an ather jump in prime is harder too i can get at lest 3 in prime 2 before i mess up and need to pull back in and lose some hight in prime i find it hard to just get one
you should try a run without SW use, i got 1:23 following zoids 1:03 and i made LOTS of mistakes
-_- I said that I ommited SW useage in my 1:44. I just made lots of mistakes where I shouldn't have. (also Zoids 1:03 uses the Thardus dash, and climbing up the Crashed Frigate. Two tricks that I can never seem to do correctly.)

Prime's aether jumping isn't hard if you use the corner of the room. There's virtually no penalty for messing up.
Also, secret worlds don't even save that much time iirc. Unless you can wallcrawl really well, i'm pretty sure they actually end up costing a lot of time.
getting grapple costs like 15 seconds and lets you climb the crashed frigate easily. it seems like a good placeholder until you get good enough for the dashes.
yeah, SWs don't save much time in mp1. the new 1:01 run gained just 30 seconds from SWs and the wallcrawls were as good as they get. personally, i'd still keep using the old route with some modifications.
LOL - I've still never entered a secret world or done a sequence break on any of the Prime games, yet I have over 5000 posts in this forum. I suppose stranger things have happened in this world.
4:09 any% Normal mode Trilogy version with Sequence breaks. (segmented) Go ahead and laugh, just remember that this was the first time I sequence broke in Trilogy. (and no I didn't get SJE, I can never get enough height or distance.)
The only sequence breaks I used were. Skipping Gravity (Curse you Lifegiver!!!) Early Phazon Mines Early Power Bombs.

thats the one with the weird boost trick right, if so with a segmented run it shouldn't take much time you can always save close to it and just reset if you mess up
lol no I didn't use the boost method. (and I really wasn't going for speed anyway it was just to see if I could sequence break in Trilogy) What I did for lifegiver was lock onto a Ocolus and do the underwater ghetto facing away from the wall, however I didn't think about this until AFTER I got the other 10 artifacts (I have this habit of getting Truth last.)
